Carino Miracle oil

Aldi - Hair oil - Miracle oil - carino professional - argan oil - review

This product has been on the market for a long time now and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one when they were initially released. Since then I have repurchased another and although the hype has died down I'm still smitten with the Aldi's version of Moroccan oil. Aldi's hair oil comes in at £3.99 compared to Moroccan oil, which is priced at £15.00 for the equal amount.

I have tried a lot of hair oils since they became widespread last year and this is still firmly on my favorite list. I don't think it compares to Moroccan Oil as it doesn't have as much Argan oil present in the formula. Nevertheless it definitely leaves my hair much softer and more manageable than ones from highstreet brands. So if Moroccan Oil is out of your budget this is the hair oil I' would recommend.

Aldi - Hair oil - Miracle oil - carino professional - argan oil - review

I personally use this as more of a styling, finishing product as it really does leave your hair silky and glossy. However due to the lower percentage of Argan oil, I don't tend to use it as a deep conditioner. Due to the years of abuse my hair has received, I prefer to use products with higher moisturing contents in. Such as Macadamia Oil hair treatments or a hot oil treatment. Although I have used it as a treatment and It did leave my hair looking in lovely condition. However this might be due to Dimethacone which is a type of silicone which coats the hair shaft instead of penetrating it.

So although I doubt it repairs the hair, I really love this product. As a styling/leave in conditioner and finishing product it's the closest to Moroccan Oil I have used. It reduces frizz and makes hair much more easy to style. Nevertheless still use a separate heat protector aswell just to give my hair that extra bit of protection.

As a finishing product it leaves your hair shiny and free from fly away's without leaving your hair looking or feeling greasy. The Miracle Oil has a beautiful slightly vanilla scent which also has real lasting power on the hair. My partner loves the smell of my hair after I use it.

So all in all it is without doubt worth its £3.99 price tag. I would definitely recommend for any one who wants to make their hair look shiny, softer and sleeker.

Have you tried this? Do you use Hair oils? Which would you recommend? Do you use a different form of deep conditioning treatment? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

lots of love,
Laura x

  1. I am the same and have treated my hair terribly over the years. I am also curly so super dry unless I pack it with moisture. Defo gonna give this one a whirl. I used moroccan oil mask and it was amazing. This looks like it would be a great finishing product.

  9. Fantastic review lovely, although I'm a little bit sad actually as I tried this and was quite disappointed. It just didn't quite live up to my expectations, but I guess that's the thing about beauty products. Everyone's hair is different. Big fan of the blog though :)
