Too Faced Coral Fire Lipstick

Too Faced - Coral Fire - Lipstick - Peach - coral - review - swatch

A beautiful Vibrant coral described as a red coral I think it leans more towards a pinky peachy coral when on, but without doubt the perfect shade for spring and summer. Really flattering with its ever so slight orange tones this will look good on all skin types.

Too Faced say:
There’s rich, there’s obscenely rich and then there’s our La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream. Oozing with lip-conditioning hydrators, including white lotus flower, it treats while it enhances lips. Available in five carefully curated, heiress-worthy shades.

Too Faced - Coral Fire - Lipstick - Peach - coral - review - swatch

The packaging is really pretty cased in a golden tube adorned with too faced down the side it looks like a luxurious product. I really like the fact the packaging has a bit of weight to it aswell.
The formula is ever so moistursing and glides on to your lips with minimal effort. Helped by the slanted shape of the lipstick itself. it has an almost lip balm  like feel to it when being applied as it is glides so beautiful coating your lips. The texture is also very balm like as its rich and creamy.

Too Faced - Coral Fire - Lipstick - Peach - coral - review - swatch

The finish is what I would describe as satin, its not a full on gloss or matte. Which I find is one of the most flattering finish for most lips especially those of us with dry lips. As it doesn't dry out your lips or settle into any fine lines making them look worse.

It lasts a good 3-4 hours and gives a lovely colour to the lips not full opaque yet not sheer meaning it looks flattering on more skin types as it looks slightly different on your lips depending on the natural colour of them.

I really love this lipstick and I'm really impressed with both the colour and durability. This is my first ever too faced lipstick, now I can't wait to get my hands on some more colours.

Have you tried any of Too Faced lipsticks? Which do you recommend? Are you loving coral lipsticks this spring/summer?

Lots of Love,
Laura x

Guide to foundation - Type of foundations

types of foundation - guide to foundation - cream foundation - powder foundation - mineral foundations - gel foundations - mousse foundations - stick foundation -panstick foundation - cake foundation - pan cake foundation - what foundation for my skin type - what type of foundation for what skin type - what coverage does each foundation give

Foundations come in lots of different forms and in order to choose the right one. It's best to have a good overall idea of what foundations there are and skins they are best for. To find out what skin type you have check out this post "Recognising your skintype"

Liquid foundations

Coverage - medium
Best for - most skin types (see below for specifics)

Liquid foundations contain a higher proportion of water and give light/ medium coverage. In some products the oil is replaced with alcohol, which evaporates leaving only the powder and pigment.

Alcohol based liquid foundation - Best for greasy or oily skin
Water based liquid foundation - Best for Combination/ oily skin
Oil Based liquid foundation - Best for Normal/ dry and mature skins.

Cream foundations

Coverage - Medium
Best for - Mature skin/ dry skin or slightly oily

Thicker than liquid foundation and one of the most common types of foundation. Provides medium coverage but can be built up to full coverage blends easily on the skin. Can be mixed with a moisturser to thin out when less coverage is needed.

Gel foundations

Coverage - sheer to light
Best for - skin requiring less coverage, such as tanned skin.

Gel foundations provide a light coverage that gives a really natural look. evens out tone and colour rather than adding alot coverage.

Mineral - powder Foundation

Coverage - Medium
Best for - normal/combination

A powder that should be applied in a buffing motion for a more natural look. Gives medium coverage without looking to heavy on the skin. Can be in loose or pressed powder form. Prefect for use with powdered blushers or bronzers. Can make tanned or darker skins as can leave skin looking to ashen.

Mousse Foundations

Coverage - Light/Medium
Best for - Normal /Most skin types/ sensitive

A foundation with an air whipped formula, they go on to the skin with a creamy consistency and dry with a matte finish. Really good for mature skin as it doesn't settle in lines.

Stick Foundations

Coverage - Medium/Heavy
Best for -  Combination/Slightly oily

Perfect for traveling and applying make up on the move. Better for use in specific areas rather than all over for a more natural look. Originates form pan stick foundations yet less drying and not as full coverage. Yet can be hard to blend and to achieve a natural finish.

Pan Stick Foundations

Coverage - Heavy
Best for - Oily skins, blemished or scarred areas.

This foundation comes in a solid stick form and can be used as a concealer. Perfect for stage, photographic and TV work use as leaves skin with a uniform full coverage. These foundation's leave skin with a matte finish and can be really drying on the skin.

Pancake/ Cake Foundations

Coverage - Heavy
Best for - Oily Skins, Blotchy, blemished skin or scarred areas.

Normally to heavy and drying for dry and sensitive skins. Made to stand up against the harsh lights of the film studios. Pancake foundation is water and can resist perspiration and is still popular in countries with extreme heat for this reason. Gives complete coverage used to cover blemishes skin discolouration and even tattoos. Can look really heavy and unnatural for day to day use.
Can be applied as thickly or as thinly as required by adjusting the amount of water on the sponge used to apply the foundation.

Which type of foundation do you use? Have you tried any and found they really didn't work for your skin? Which is your fave foundation?

Miley's Signature look as seen in wrecking ball

get the look - miley cyrus - wrecking ball look - make up - how to - tutorial

The focus of this look is on the lips with the rest of the make up kept quite natural. With flawless slightly sun-kissed skin, wide eyes with black long lashes, perfectly groomed brows and of course the bright red lips. Here is how I recreated the look.

To create Miley flawless and slightly sun kissed skin.
get the look - miley cyrus - wrecking ball look - make up - how to - tutorial

I used
Maybelline Baby skin Primer
Maybelline Fit me foundation in 120
Maybelline Fit me concealer in 10
Natural collection translucent powder
Natural collection sun kissed bronzer
Sleek matte bronzer from face form kit

How I did it
- To prep the skin I used Babyskin primer by Maybelline.
- I then used Fit me foundation applied with my Cosmo beauty blender to help get a consistent coverage. Making sure to cover my lids to create a natural coloured base.
- I also applied fit me concealer under my eyes and around the nose to help conceal any redness.
- I then set both with natural collection translucent powder using my real technique buffing brush.

Miley has an ever so slight tan so to give my skin the same sunkissed glow....

- I then gave my skin a light dusting of Natural collection bronzer. Over my cheekbones, nose and forehead. for a natural sunkissed look.
- To create the illusion of higher cheekbones I used my matte bronzer from my sleek faceform kit under the cheekbones to create a shadow effect.

To create Mileys natural groomed brows.
get the look - miley cyrus - wrecking ball look - make up - how to - tutorial

I used
MUA pro brow palette.

How I did it
- Instead of enhancing the brow arch I brushed my eyebrows in a more natural straight shape.
- I used the lightest brown (number 1) to fill in my brow, using feathery strokes to keep the look natural and not drawn on.
- I then used the lightest colour (number 2) to define the shape by following the line of the brow under the hair blending this shade. This gives a stronger brow line.
- Once I was happy with the shape I then used the brow gel (number 3) to hold the hairs in shape.

To create Mileys natural big wide-eyed look

get the look - miley cyrus - wrecking ball look - make up - how to - tutorial

I used
Shu uemura eye lash curlers
Yves Rocher sexy pulp black mascara
Collection Extreme 24 felt eyeliner

How I did it
- When applying my base I made sure to cover my eyelids as this removes any redness or darkness on the eye.
- Then I curled my lashes, to help open up the eye.
- I then used my felt liner to create a thin line over the lid. Trying to keep it thin and not taking into a full on flick but naturally tapering out as to look more natural and less full on.
- To give my lashes extra thickness and length I used several coats of mascara.

To create Mileys full and vampish lips.

get the look - miley cyrus - wrecking ball look - make up - how to - tutorial

I used
Lip Plumper Maxilip
Mac lip pencil in brick
17 lipstick in Red devil
YSL Touche eclat in number 2

How I did it
- I firstly applied my maxi lip, lip plumper to give the illusion of a fuller pout.
- I then carefully lined my lips with the lip pencil
- using a lip brush I carefully filled my lips with the bright red lipstick.
- I then outlined my cupids bow with my Touche eclat to help make the lips look defined and more pouty.

And there you have it how I created my version of Miley's wrecking ball make up which has now become her signature look. I didn't use any eye shadow in this look as I wanted to keep the eyes as natural as possible I did however use my foundation to create an even colour over the lid.

What do you think of the look? have you created a Miley inspired look? Will you be giving it ago? Who's look would you like to see me recreate next?

Soap and Glory's Sugarcrush Body Buttercream

Soap & glory - Sugarcrush - Body butter - swatch - moisturser - body cream - review

If you read my blog regularly you'll know I love Soap and Glory's products. They are all beautifully scented and have gorgeous pink packaging that looks pretty in any girls bedroom or bathroom.

This is one of my most repurchased soap and glory products and without doubt one of my favorites. I have the matching sugarcrush products and love the long lasting scent they leave on your skin, when used together the scent awakens your skin and individually are just as pretty smelling and a real luxurious treat for your skin.

Soap and Glory say:

Soap & Glory’s must-have moisture-extreme, re-energizing, sweet-lime scented body buttercream for supreme skin smoothing! Loaded with shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil, and a super-refreshing triple whammy of lime oil, kiwi juice water, and smoothing lime tree blossom extract, Soap & Glory’s new ultra-rich body buttercream is irresistible, really!

A VERY FINE LIME: After a bath or shower – on still slightly damp skin – massage a handful of Sugar Crush™ Body Buttercream onto your skin; from your toes to your shoulders.

The scent is the first thing that attracts most people to this product. There is no denying it smells amazing. It reminds me of flying saucer sweets, almost like lemon sherbet. It is a really beautiful scent but not at all sickly like other heavy scented body butters. However the scent on its own isn't enough to make it one of the most popular of Soap and Glory's products as I'm yet to find a product in Soap and Glory's ranges that doesn't smell gorgeous.

Soap & glory - Sugarcrush - Body butter - swatch - moisturser - body cream - review
The main reason of this is so popular is because It leaves even the driest of skins soft and supple. I love the consistency of this its almost  like whipped cream. its ever so creamy yet spreads really easily over the skin.Even though its extremely moisturising, It doesn't leave you with a greasy feeling and is quickly absorbed.

Although not the cheapest of body butters retailing at £10.50, it does really leave your skin feeling soft and conditioned. So well worth the money and they are often on offer at Boots. Which is when I really stock up on my Soap and glory products. The scent is perfect for the summery months and just what I need to keep dry skin at bay when its time to finally ditch the tights.

Have you tried this body butter? What's your all time favourite soap and glory product? Will you be slapping this on over the summer months? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp, Ultra - Volume Mascara

Yves Rocher - Sexy pulp Ultra - volume - mascara - review - results - swatch

I'm always on the look out for that perfect mascara. When Baobella asked if I would like to try Yves Rocher Sexy pulp ultra mascara* I of course said an excited yes. After seeing rave reviews of this mascara, from the likes of Zoella! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.

Yves Rocher says -

For an even more glamorous look! Its generously curved brush perfectly hugs your lashes for lash-by-lash volume without clumping. Its creamy texture thickens and coats lashes without weighing them down for even more volume.

Apply from the lash line to the tips with a light zigzag movement. For even more intense volume and glamorous result, re-apply. Lashes are visibly thicker their entire length and look truly sublime. Use with… Sexy Pulp Volume Gloss on lips, for a totally glamorous look.
Yves Rocher - Sexy pulp Ultra - volume - mascara - review - results - swatch

The brush on this mascara is beautiful with full thick bristles that really do grab hold of every lash. One of my favourite things in a mascara is when you feel the brush is really grabbing the lashes, as you know that even the smallest lash is getting a coating.

Some people may be put of with how big the brush is but due to the density of the bristles it still gives an even level of coverage. It does take a while to get used to the size of the brush. I did get the quite alot of mascara on my lid the first few times i used it. i found one of the best ways to use this mascara is to remove the extra formula from the brush before applying as the brush takes on quite alot of product. Once I started doing this I found that there was much less mess.

Yves Rocher - Sexy pulp Ultra - volume - mascara - review - results - swatch
The finish is dramatic, yet natural! Which is perfect for me as I love this look. Two coats was more than enough to give a real wow finish.to my lashes looked so much longer as well as thicker, One of the best things about this mascara is you can apply coat after coat, without getting massive clumps on your lashes. So if you do want an even more dramatic look, you can easily build up the mascara to give a false lash look.
The formula is easily removed with make up remover and doesn't cause any irritation. Which is brilliant for me, as my eyes are quite sensitive and some mascaras really irritate them. I did get some slight smudging after wearing for a whole day but not a lot. Considering its hay fever season I would normally have black smeared all over my face. I'm really fond of this mascara and I would definitely repurchase. I love the fanned out look it gives my lashes and the variety of looks you can achieve with it.

Have you tried this mascara? Which mascara are you wearing at the moment? Do you like the result? Let me know all your thoughts below.

Mint Green and Gradient Silver Glitter Nail Art

Nail art - ombre nails - nail glitter - nail trends - nail tutorial - nail polish

This week I decided to go with another shade that is perfect for spring. It's a light mint green from Revlon called Minted, its a gorgeous pastel shade. Revlon nail polishes are one of my all time favourites. The formula is ever so slightly runny but two coats gives you a really opaque finish. Also the formula doesn't go gloopy after a few uses like other polishes.

To jazz it up I thought I would do a ombre style effect over it in sliver glitter. The glitter polish is from H&M and is called Jo in the house. I really love this polish as it is filled with high density colourful glitter particles.

To get this affect I applied two coats of minted to get an even opaque finish.

Nail art - ombre nails - nail glitter - nail trends - nail tutorial - nail polish
  • Once this has dried I then wipe the excess glitter off of the brush. I then painted over the top 70% of the nail leaving the bottom near the cuticle clear of glitter.
  • Once this has dried I then paint another coat of glitter half way down the nail.
  • Then over the top 20 % of the nail again to give a really intense finish of glitter.
  • Then once this was dried, I then give the finished look a coat of topcoat.

This is the finished result.

Nail art - ombre nails - nail glitter - nail trends - nail tutorial - nail polish

I think it gives a really pretty look and I will definitely  try this out with other colours. What do you think? Will you be giving this look ago? Do you have any Revlon nail varnishes?

Guide to foundation - foundation finishes

Guide to foundations- foundation finishes - matte - satin - luminous - high shine

Here is the next installment in my guide to foundation, Last week we looked at what you can expect from each level of coverage if you missed this post you can find it here. In this post we will be looking at the different textures available on the market! Although the brands might vary, with their terminology, foundations mostly come in the following four types of textures.

So to help you on your quest to find your perfect foundation, I have broken down these different terms so you can get an idea of what they mean, so you can decide which you like best,

Also known as Non shine finish, Powder finish.
Matte finish foundation has become very popular again in the last few years and is perfect for a classic french look.

Finish it gives - Matte foundation leaves skin without any shine and a powder like finish

Avoid if - The powder finish often highlighting fine lines, so may not be suited to more mature skins. Also not great for those who have dry skin as the finish can make dry patches look worse.

Perfect for - Those of us with combination or oily skin, as it removes shine from the skin.  This is one of the most long lasting finishes so great for special occasions or events when you need your make up to last the test of time.

Also know as velvet finish, sheen finish, Cashmere finish.
The most flattering foundation formula. This type of texture is semi- matte giving a natural smooth finish.

Finish it gives - This gives skin a slight satin sheen, making skin look natural with an ever so slight glow. Not as shiny as Luminous or as flat as Matte.

Avoid if - This finish can be adapted to all skin types.

Perfect for - This sort of foundation finish suits most skin types. Set with translucent powder to make the foundation last. Those of us with slightly oily or combination skin apply more powder over T- zone to reduce any shine.

Also know as Dewy finish, Shimmer finish, pearlized finish.
Most popular for summer months. This type of finish doesn't last as long as matte or satin.

Finish it gives - The skin is left with a shimmery glowing finish. Skin looks intensely moisturized and radiant

Avoid if - You have large pores as the shimmery finish highlights them. Blemishes may also stand out more. If you have oily skin this may make you look too shiny even with a setting powder.

Perfect for - People with normal to dry skin as gives skin an added glow. Also great for adding radiance to more mature skin types.

High shine
Although this is a type of finish it isn't seen much other than on catwalks and in magazines. Often seen with a lot of highlighting.

Finish it gives - This gives a full on shiny, glossy finish.

Avoid if - You aren't on a photo-shoot or strutting on a catwalk lol.

Perfect for - This foundation isn't really suited to day to day life. Unless you like looking greasy or like your skins wet.

Now you know what the different terms mean and the result they should give, It should be much easier to pick a finish suited to you. Which sort of finish do you usually go for? Do you wear a different finish depending on the time of year? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Manga Mascara

Miss Manga - Loreal - mega volume - mascara - review - swatch - results

Miss manga features a 360 degree flexible brush for effortless application.
Its unique brush has a flat surface to intensify and amplify upper lashes while its conical shape capture the lower lashes.
Formulated with collagen spheres and polymers for ultimate volume and hold.

I really wanted to like this mascara as it has promised everything I like in a mascara. A Bristle brush - Check, Mega Volume - Check, Perfect for the lower lashes - check. Yet did it deliever? Read on to findout!

Firstly I did find the formula was too wet and runny for me and was hard to apply without any mess. I'm really tempted to leave the mascara a while and try again once it's dried out a bit as I normally find they work better then anyway. I left the mascara a few weeks and it did appear to be less runny and messy so if you found this to be a an issue give it another go after a few weeks.

The brush is perfect for me as I much prefer bristle brushes as I feel they really grab even your smallest lash. Yet I would have preferred if the end wasn't as flexible, so I could have had a bit more resistance as I applied the mascara to my lashes. As I feel this stops the lashes clumping. Which leads me on to my next issue.
Miss Manga - Loreal - mega volume - mascara - review - swatch - results

It is almost impossible to use this mascara and not create clumps. With one coat it was fine and gave a really pretty look but not really dramatic enough for me. Yet with two coats, my lashes really did stick together and  although this makes your lashes appear thicker. It's not a look I'm particularly a fan of. Also it lengthens your lashes  when looking close up the ends are really bitty and spider like. However if you look at the photo where I use the mascara again a few weeks later this isn't as much of an issue.
Miss Manga - Loreal - mega volume - mascara - review - swatch - results
The mascara holds a curl beautifully and doesn't weigh your lashes down which is a big plus. My favorite thing about this mascara is how black the formula was I really like my lashes to look as dark as possible as my lashes are really fair naturally.
Overall it's a nice mascara, I will definitely use up my tube but don't think I'll be repurchasing. although if they updated the formula etc. I wouldn't rule out trying it again as it does have the potential to be an amazing mascara.

Have you tried this mascara? What were your thoughts? Which is your favourite highstreet mascara?

Avene Soothing Hydrating serum

Avene - Soothing hydrating serum - Facial skincare - french skincare - skincare - swatch - review
When facial serums first hit the headlines I was dubious. Do I really need to be adding yet another step in my routine? Since then, I have read so many different reviews that rave about them. I have tried a few  but if I'm honest I haven't found one that has made me really change my mind about them. So when Escentual asked if I would like to try Avene soothing hydrating serum*. I jumped at the chance as it is one of the serums I have heard a lot of rave reviews about.

Avene say :
Get a highly concentrated boost of repairing and protecting power for your skin with the Avène Soothing Hydrating Serum.
This intensely soothing and hydrating formulation is ideal for sensitive skin, or skin that is easily effected by stress, pollution, or irritation. With its high concentration of Avène Thermal Spring Water, the serum works to soothe and heal the skin with each and every application. This soothing sensation has a long-lasting effect thanks to patented lipsomes, which work to diffuse the ingredients gradually into the upper layer of the skin.
Added Glycerine provides deep nourishment, hydration and comfort for the complexion. The silky serum glides on luxuriously, leaving skin feeling supple, smooth and soft.
Apply day and night to a cleansed face and neck. Apply your usual moisturiser afterwards.
Non-comodogenic, hypoallergenic, paraben free.

Avene - Soothing hydrating serum - Facial skincare - french skincare - skincare - swatch - review

The serum itself is has a silky feel to it and is white in colour. Its easily absorbed by the skin without a greasy feeling. Other serums I have used have left my skin feeling slightly sticky but I didn't have this problem with this product. However I find the best way to apply serums, is to apply quickly to stop any tackiness. Then to wait a few minutes before applying your moisturser.

You only need the smallest bit to hydrate your face and neck. One pump is more than sufficient for your face and neck. I love that this serum is made from water and doesn't contain any oil. So it doesn't clog up your pores, which is a godsend to me. As blocked pores is something I suffer from.

After a few weeks of use my skin felt softer and more supple. the formula is really soothing to stressed out skin leaving your skin replenished. it gently restores moisture to the the skin while leaving your skin with what feels like a protective shield.
It instantly soothed any areas of inflammation and help with any dry patches. Serum's are definitely an extra step in your skincare routine worth taking. I feel I need less coverage when applying make up now as my skin looks so much clearer. I loved this serum and really recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin or even those with dry skin. This product leaves your skin feeling really hydrated and after a few weeks your skin will be left feeling plumper and fuller.

Avene - Soothing hydrating serum - Facial skincare - french skincare - skincare - swatch - review

For a limited time you can get this serum at Escentual for only £14.45 instead of £17.00!! To get this deal visit the site here!!

Have you tried adding serums to your skincare routine? Have you tried this brand before? Let me know all your thoughts!

Guide to foundations - what to expect from what coverage

Foundation - types - finishes - coverage - what coverage do I need? - sheer coverage - light coverage - medium coverage - heavy coverage - full coverage

In this series of posts I will be looking into Foundations. How to get one most suited to your skin? How to apply different types and what different types of finishes mean? One of the first steps of finding your perfect foundation is to find what coverage you need for your skin and what level of coverage different terms provide.

This is the most transparent of all the strengths of coverage. Sheer foundations have the least amount of pigment. These contain less than 50% pigment.
Will - Minimize contrast between skin tones and discoloration
Wont - Disguise any blemishes or discoloration
Best for - Clear blemish free skin.

Only slightly more pigment than Sheer foundations. These give a natural look to the skin, evening out skin tone. Any other blemishes can be covered with concealer.
Will - cover uneven skin tone and disguise blotchy skin.
Wont - Disguise freckles
Best for - Skin with only slight pigmentation or subtle blemishes.

Medium is more than enough coverage for most skins. These foundations tend to be build-able so you can build layers of foundation for extra coverage.
Will - Cover blemishes, discoloration, blotches
Wont - cover scaring or hyper pigmentation
Best for - pigmented or blotchy skin

Heavy or Full
Gives the most opaque finish. Not normally required for day to day wear unless you need to camouflage flaws on your own skin.
Will - Cover blemishes,  discoloration and scars
Wont -  Give as natural a finish as other types of foundation.
Best for - Hyper pigmented skin, scarred skin, skin with birthmarks.

Most of us opt for a higher coverage than we need, I'm guilty myself although ilo depends on where you are going. For a day out I will wear less coverage than when I'm going for a night out.

However most full coverage foundations available in shops are medium to heavy, so bear this in mind if you are looking to cover a birthmark for example. You will be better off looking for professional full coverage or camouflage foundation available in specialist beauty shops and some beauty departments.

Which foundation coverage do you go for? Has this made you change your mind on what coverage you actually need? Do you love a more natural foundation look or a full matte finish? Are there any posts you would like to see in this series?

Maybelline Color Show nail polish in coral reef

Maybelline - color show - nail polish - coral reef - nail varnish - coral - orange - swatch - review

This week I wanted a spring shade that would go with anything so while delving through my ever expanding collection. I decided to use this gorgeous shade by Maybelline Color Show called coral reef! It's a light orange/coral colour with a hint of golden shimmer.

I was really impressed with the formula. When applying metallic colours or colours with a high density of shimmer, it can be a nightmare to get an even finish! Quite often you are left with the lines of the brush or a gloopy finish where you have tried to even it out. Where this formula is really smooth and not at all  lumpy or to watery. The brush is the perfect size to give professional results.

Maybelline Say :
Our first transparent gel based formula combining bold, crisp color with a runway-inspired wardrobe for your nails.
Color Show is the new nail polish line that brings trend and color direct from the catwalk to the sidewalk. Inspired by all that is the Big Apple and its global fashion credentials, Color Show brings an instant seasonal update to your fingertips

The only issue I had was it did take a three coats to get an opaque look. So did use quite abit of polish which was quite disappointing. However for me the good things about this polish really outweigh the bad. The polish is quick drying and the shades on offer are stunningly beautiful and they have an amazing array of effects.

Maybelline - color show - nail polish - coral reef - nail varnish - coral - orange - swatch - review
A lot of people have complained about the lasting power of the color show polishes. Yet I haven't had any problem with chipping. I used my OPI Top coat and my nails have lasted 6 days perfectly without any chips which for a nail varnish under five pounds I think is amazing!

Have you tried this polish? what colour are you wearing this week? Have you tried any of the color show nail polishes? Do you have any coral colours?

Lots of love,

For your skin to look at its best they believe in well being from within. They also only use 100% natural products and even contain liquid gems and crystals.

Pink is essentially the colour of kindness, caring, warmth - love. We could all benefit from a little more love and caring. Most of us do not allow ourselves the time or space to care for ourselves and more usually that caring energy is directed outwardly towards others - friends, family, loved ones. That of course, is commendable, but there does come a point when perhaps one needs to recognize that we need to replenish ourselves in order to be able to continue offering that same quality to those we care about.
If we really would like to look after ourselves, whether that is just our skincare, or through consideration of our whole being, the pink range of products may assist in encouraging and replenishing those pink qualities within oneself. AEOS pink products are enhanced with the crystal essences of fire opal, rose quartz and rubelite.

Blue speaks to us of the qualities of peace, serenity and nurturing, qualities that we all have need of in every day life. Our days are full of ‘busy-ness' and extending out of ourselves. The blue gives an opportunity to ‘re-group' and find some stillness within. Many people feel the need to be more at peace with themselves and their circumstances.
Blue may help to find that aspect. Due to it's calming effect the blue range is ideal for finding more peace and to help develop a more calm approach to their daily activities. AEOS blue products are enchanced with the crystal essences of amethyst, turquoise and emerald.

All sounds really interesting and quite different yet  does the product live up to £35.98  price tag? Well the bottle is tiny and I was worried that it would all be gone after 3 or 4 uses. However a little goes a long way. So the amount you get isn't at all an issue. The fragrance is particular strong and is slightly over powering yet the scent is pleasant and does leave you feeling relaxed.

Use & Application
Blend a small amount of this product with water. Apply over the face and neck in a gentle circular massage movement using the finger tips, to gently exfoliate the skin. Rinse well with lukewarm water.
Either exfoliate morning or evening but NOT both. If hypersensitive do not exfoliate; Mature skin exfoliate 1 time per week; Normal / Dry / Sensitive skin exfoliate 2 times per week; Combination / Oily skin exfoliate 3 times per week.
I followed the above advice given by AEOS. As my skin is normal to dry I used it twice a week. Unlike most exfoliators the formula is very gentle and not gritty. Although gentle it did leave my skin with a deep down clean feeling.  It really made a difference to my skin and helped prep my skin for moisturisng. I found that my moisturser sunk in a lot quicker after I started using this, even on days I didn't exfoliate.

This is definitely a luxury product After use I felt like I'd had a replenishing spa treatment so maybe there is something in using of crystals in the formula. I would love to repurchase, yet it is out of my normal price range. That's one of the reason's I'm so excited about Baobella Boutique! It is on offer for members, over the next two days. I can't believe a luxury product worth £35.98 is available for only £8.99! What an amazing saving. I am so excited and will be stocking up immediately!
