Benefit Big Easy- Review and Swatches

Benefit - Big easy - BB cream - foundation - swatches - review - oily skin - light coverage

As the weather heats up a lot of us will be looking to swap in our foundations for something a bit lighter such as a BB cream. Which is all well and good but what about those of us with acne prone skin who still need a bit of coverage?

Well Benefit have heard your prayers! They have came up with a BB cream with a difference as this one offers an impressive amount of coverage!

Benefit Say:
BIGGER than BB! Our multi - balancing complexion perfector contains ingredients known to help balance skin and oil control... soothing, comforting and fighting free radicals. The cushiony liquid to powder formula self adjusts to your exact shade. It melts in like a cream, yet finishes lightweight & smooth like a powder to even out skintone and conceal imperfections. One & done... big easy saves the day!

Beauty balancing act!

  • Balances skin & controls oil
  • Self adjusts on skin to your exact shade
  • Perfects & evens with liquid to powder finish
  • Protects with SPF 35 PA+++ to help prevent ageing

I was lucky enough to receive this from my beautiful best Friend Gemma from Miss Makeup Magpie. As this shade 05 Beige was much too dark for her fair skin. I'm quite fair but a great lover of fake tan and a bit of a sun worshipper in the summer. So this is perfect for me in the summer months when I switch up my foundation for a darker shade. The colours do come up a lot lighter than they look when swatched. Due to the lightweight and the self adjusting formula it is easy to make the shade blend well into your skintone.

Although it offers more coverage than the average BB cream you may need to add some concealer to anything more than a minor blemish. This is the perfect formula for anyone with combination or oily skin. As its perfect at keeping oil at bay and giving skin a matte powder finish.

If you have any dry skin then this really isn't for you as the mattifying formula will dry your skin out more and cling to any dry patches. Which if you look closely on the picture where I am wearing Big Easy you can see it has become slightly patchy on the drier skin on my forehead and around my mouth. However if in the summer your skin gets an extra shine to it this may also be a saviour.

Have you tried this? Which benefit products do you love? Will you be wearing a lighter foundation or BB cream this summer? If so which ones?

Lots of Love,
Laura x

  4. I use No7 triple protection tinted moisturiser Laura, you should do a review on it, you know how bad my skin is and it's the first of its kind that I feel comfortable enough to brave the outside world and not slap on anything else xxx
