I like many of us suffer with stretch marks. They really affect my confidence when wearing bikinis or shorts in the summer. So I when I was given this to try by chemist direct*. I was over the moon as I have tried so many different potions and lotions to help improve the appearance of my stripey thighs.
Dermaoil Skin Repair & Anti-Stretch mark Oil is a topical specialist skincare product for anti-ageing, scars and stretch marks.Contains breakthrough ingredient Collageneer, which is clinically tested and proven to be effective in anti-ageing skin treatment. Intensely moisturising for rehydration of the skin, body and face. Free from wheat, preservatives, colourings, yeast and synthetic fragrances .Dermaoil is suitable for all skin types.
The packaging is clean and the oil comes in a clear bottle with a white label on it. It is really like a high quality product. The oil itself, reminds me of Bio oil but is quite a lot thicker in texture and has a much nicer scent. The scent has a citrusy almost orange scent but isn't so strong that it would interfere with your other body products. I can have quite sensitive skin to highly perfumed products,so the fact that it's free from synthetic fragances is a massive bonus and I didn't have any reactions to the oil.
The oil is quite thick and rich. Although it is quite thick it is absorbed easily by the skin, and leaves the skin feeling softer immediately. I have been using this religiously for the past few months and can say I have noticed a slight improvement on my redder stretch marks but the most noticable difference was on the older silvery stretch marks. They have faded and look a lot less visible. I found that on areas with older stretch marks my skin felt quite papery and thin but using this has really made this less of an issue. Overall my skin feels hydrated and smoother.
Derma Oil can also be used for a long list of other skin problems and although I cant vouch for all of them I would really recommend giving it a try as I really have noticed a big difference on my stretch marks and a general improvement on the quality of my skin. I will definitely be buying some of this now I have finished the bottle as I hope the improvements will continue with further use. You can get your own from ChemistDirect for £10.99
