Top 3 Nude Lip Products

Top Nude lip products - Lipstick - lip paint - Mac - blankety - review - L.A girl - Whisper - Liar - Urban Decay - Nude lipsticks - swatches

When it comes to Lip products I nearly always reach for a nude. I love playing around with different eye looks but always fall back on my trusty nude lip. They go with any eye look and especially my all time fave smokey eye so I guess that one of the reasons my make up collection has more nude toned lip products than any other.

When my gorgeous friend Emily and I were discussing a collaboration post we automatically decided it would have to be a lip product post as we are constantly updating each other on our latest lip loves. Even spending a good hour swatching together in MAC to find the perfect shade. Yet when trying to narrow down my top 3 I must say I really did struggle lol so after much deliberation here are my top 3 lip products (at the moment)

Top Nude lip products - Lipstick - lip paint - Mac - blankety - review - L.A girl - Whisper - Liar - Urban Decay - Nude lipsticks - swatches

Blankety - Mac
Described as a soft pink beige this is becoming my day to day go to shade. It's in an amplified creme finish so it's pigmented but really comfortable on the lips with a slightly glossy look. If you have drier lips this is a fab choice as its really moisturising. that does mean it does needs to be touched up every few hours but that really doesn't bother me as it's a beautiful shade. On me it looks like a neutral pink mauve toned nude which is just up my street.

Top Nude lip products - Lipstick - lip paint - Mac - blankety - review - L.A girl - Whisper - Liar - Urban Decay - Nude lipsticks - swatches

Whisper - L.A girl
This cool toned lip paint is simply gorgeous with a full on glossy finish. If you are fan of a lighter nude this is the one I'd recommend. It's more creamy and pink toned than the other two. It is one of the lightest nude shade I own but its glossy finish and pink tinge stops the dreaded concealer lip. This is one I team with a dark smokey eye on a night out.

Top Nude lip products - Lipstick - lip paint - Mac - blankety - review - L.A girl - Whisper - Liar - Urban Decay - Nude lipsticks - swatches

Liar - Urban Decay
The darkest of my favourite nude tones and the brownest of the bunch. I originally found this last year and have it in the original shade which I reviewed here. As well of as the newer sheer version which is a lot lighter and glossier. The original is still my all time fave of the two even though they both get a lot of use. Liar is a pinky nudey brown, which is the perfect " your lips but better" shade. If I'm looking for a more grown up timeless colour then this is the shade I go for.

This post is in collaboration with the gorgeous Emily from British Beauty Addict. So pop over and have a read of Emily's top three nude lip products and give her a follow. I can't wait to see what shades she has picked and will be adding them to my wishlist if they aren't already in my stash.

What are you favourite nude shades? Which of mine and Emily's picks are your fave? Do you prefer a lighter nude or dark? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Lush Peeping Santa Bubble Bar

It's time for another Lush Christmas product! After delving into my stash I decided to give the fruity peeping Santa bubble bar a go! This cute little bubbleroon is super cute resembling a little santa peeping out from under his big red hat. Complete with glitter and dairy free chocolate eyes this is without doubt my favourite looking product from the Christmas range plus I love bubble bars as you get more than one baths worth per bar. This works out much better value for money as well as letting you enjoy the experience more than once.

Filled with bergamot and geranium oils, it gives off a real rich and fruity strawberry scent. The bubble bar also has a slight floral tone to it which adds depth to the scent. It is a really beautiful refreshing scent but not at all what I expected from a Christmas product. Yet with the abundance of fluffy white bubbles and bright red bath water it is without doubt the most christmassy bath I have ever had. The bath reminded me of father Christmas' red and white furry cape.

Have you been naughty or nice this year? Only Peeping Santa knows for sure, so you should probably crumble him up in your tub before he tells everyone your secrets! Made with hand-churned shea butter from the Ojoba women's cooperative in Ghana and creamy fair trade cocoa butter, this bubbler will keep winter skin soft and smelling like sweet summer strawberries. What more could you ask for this Christmas?

If you're not a big fan of the spicy heavier scents that are around this time of year this is the bubble bar for you. It would also be great for kids as vibrant red water and big white bubbles are perfect for getting them excited in the build up to santa's visit.

Have you tried any of the Lush Christmas products? What are your fave Lush products? Do you like the sound of the peeping santa bubble bar? Which Lush bits should I get on my next trip?

Like this ... then try that - Perfume

Like many of us one of the things I gift and get gifted most at Christmas time is perfume. If you're looking for a new perfume for yourself or a loved one it can be a bit of a minefield .To help you understand the lingo I've created an in depth guide to perfume which you can view here.

Even once you understand your eau de toilette from your parfum, picking a new scent is a really personal thing. It's hard enough picking a new scent for yourself let alone for someone else. So I put together a list of scents that to me are quite similar. If you like perfume on my list you may want to try the other. Or take a peak at your loved ones collection and you may get an idea of what other scents they might love.

If you like ....

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle try Dior Miss Dior

Paco Rabanne Lady Million try Dolce and Gabbana The One

Thierry Mugler Angel try Chopard Wish

Diesel Loverdose Tattoo try Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium

Obviously scent is such a personal preference so even of you love one scent you might not like my suggestions but go give them a sniff. You might find you come across your new signature scent.

Have you tried any of these combinations do you like them both or love one but loathe the other? What scents are you loving at the moment? Have you bought anyone a new scent for Christmas?  Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Clarisonic Smart Profile

As time goes on I find myself investing more and more in skincare. Prevention is much better than cure and as the years roll on I want to take much more care of my skin. After all it's got to last me a lifetime. So I have been really making a effort to keep up my skincare regime but this has been made so much easier by my now Holy Grail skincare product the Clarisonic smart profile.

A few months ago  I was sent The Clarisonic Smart Profile facial and body brush.* I have done a first impressions post which you can view here but I wanted to update you on how I'm getting on as it is a real investment piece.

One of the reasons I normally give up on my skincare routine is due to pure laziness, who has time to spend ages every morning and night going through ten steps of a regime. Yet I can honestly say I have found sticking to my routine so much easier since getting this. It cleanses and exfoliates in one easy step and the whole face cleaning cycle takes only a minute. It also beeps when its time to move on to the next area of your face so you don't even have to be concentrating whilst cleaning your face (which we all know is hard when your sleepy).

I have normal to dry skin so I only use the facial brush once a day normally at night when I'm taking off my make up. I can suffer with visible pores across my nose area and cheeks. as well as dry patches of skin and my skin can often feel slightly uneven and bumpy. Yet I feel all of these problems have greatly improved since continued use of the facial brush, which I put down to the buffing and deep cleansing of the brush. Once a week I use the turbo button to give my skin a more powerful deep cleanse and exfoliation.

Clarisonic Smart Profile is smarter, easier, more powerful cleansing for smooth, beautiful, radiant skin from head to toe. Removes long-wear makeup 11x better than hands alone. Cleanses age-accelerating pollution 30x better than hands alone. Provides superior exfoliation for accelerated skin renewal on all body zones.

Smarter: Smart technology enables the Smart Profile device to read the two new smart enabled brush heads and automatically adjust timing and power for the optimal head to toe cleanse.

Easier: Replace brush head indicator illuminates to prompt you when it is time to replace the brush head.*

More Powerful: Amplified power boost removes makeup 11x better than hands alone delivering superior cleansing results.

I normally use the body brush head once a week before tanning to remove any dry skin. My tan applies much easier and my skin is softer than ever. The patches of Keratosis Pilaris (bumpy areas like chicken skin) that I have on my thighs is much less noticeable, which for me if amazing as I'm always looking for ways to smooth out these annoying little bumps. I'm so impressed I have started to increase my use of the brush to two times a week. Fingers crossed I will continue to see a vast improvement.

Although not cheap I wouldn't be without it now. My skin is glowing and is smoother than ever, I'm over the moon with this and if you have similar skin issues to me I recommend giving this a go the results are amazing. I feel so much more confident without make up on and my make up looks better on my smoother skin. All in all I would say it's worth every penny.

If you are considering a Clarisonic you can view the Smart profile brush as well as the rest of the Clarisonic range on the Debenhams site.

Lush Butter Bear

Lush - butter bear - scented - bath products - review - fragranced bath products - body skincare

It's December so it was only a matter of time before I busted out the Christmas Lush products. So first up this month I tried the Butter Bear bath bomb.

This little bear is super cute and is one of the smallest bath bombs Lush produce, which reflects in the amazing bargain price of £1.95 each.

Once dunked into the water it isn't the most exciting of bath bombs. It fizzes out quickly and doesn't give off any colour but what it lacks in excitement it makes up for in comfort. The scent is gorgeous, a mixture of vanllia with a hint of chocolate. Perfect for getting you in the cozy mood on the cold nights and for getting you in the mood for a chocolate feast.

Snuggle up in a vanilla-scented bear hug with softening Fair Trade cocoa butter from the Colombian Peace Community of San José de Apartadó. Creamy and pampering, this polar pal will melt hearts young and old.

Once the bear has dissolved the bath water is left with little blobs of cocoa butter which slowly melt away while you soak. The cocoa butter leaves your skin so silky soft its like you have already moisturised your skin when you step out of the water.

If your not fussed about colourful baths with lots of fiz, this is one to try and it's perfect for anyone with sensitive or dry skin.

Have you tried any of the Lush Christmas products? Do you like the sound of the Butter bear? What Lush products get you in the mood for Christmas?

F&D wax melts

F&D wax melts - wax melts - home fragance - designer scents - wax tarts - angel style scent - Joop style scent - review

This time of year when the nights are dark and cold I find myself nesting more than other times of year and love making my home smell amazing, it really helps create a homely warm environment. Like millions of us the world over I'm a big lover of candles yet never really ventured into wax melts until now.

I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous wax burner complete with a mixture of two scents of soya wax melts from F&D wax melts, which you can find on twitter here. A fabulous company set up by the lovely Angela. Angela creates an amazing array of scents based on your favourite perfumes and scents, using the highest grade perfume duplicate fragrance oils.

F&D wax melts - wax melts - home fragance - designer scents - wax tarts - angel style scent - Joop style scent - review

I received some pretty little heart melts in the style of Joop which is a scent I love and reminds me of an old friend who has recently moved away ,so smelling that scent is a wonderful way of feeling close to him. I also received some little flower shaped ones in the style of one of my all time fave scents Angel. Perfect for this magical time of year.

You pop a melt onto the wax melt burner and as the tea light candle below melts the wax ,your room is filled with the aroma. Both the scents are beautiful and easily fill a room and I think the scents lingered longer than a candle scent does. Another massive plus is how gorgeous they look I love how the cream little burner looks and the little candle inside gives off a soft glow ideal for creating a relaxing and cosy mood in any room.

Party Coffin nails at Home

Party nails - nail designs - coffin nails - nail art - studs - gems - red nails - OPI - I'm not really a waitress - nail polish - at home - nail products

Are you a fan of nails short and natural shaped. or are you a squared nail fan maybe a part of the Long pointed clan? No matter what camp you're in, this could be a trend you may want to try.

Nail shapes are a massive part of getting the perfect manicure whether at home or in the salon. Women tend to be a fan of one nail shape and stick to it. Yet with a new nail shape swiftly gaining in popularity it appears the most fashion conscious are trying out this new style. First seen a few years ago the trend is really taking off and is perfect for the party season.

The original stiletto nail isn't at all for the faint hearted and even if you love or hate them, they aren't very practical for day to day activities. This trend takes on the length and shape of the original stiletto yet instead of the deadly point the end has been bluntly cut.

When creating my own design I wanted a mixture of red and gold to celebrate it being the Christmas season. Obviously I couldn't resist adding a touch of sparkle as well!

Party nails - nail designs - coffin nails - nail art - studs - gems - red nails - OPI - I'm not really a waitress - nail polish - at home - nail products

False nails - Broadway Long length
Glue - Nailene Ultra Quick
Red nail varnish - OPI I'm not really a waitress.
Studs and gems - Ebay

I created mine at home by filing the long length Broadway nails into shape before painting them a deep red shade from OPI. I then added small golden square studs on the little finger nails and middle fingers. Next I added a bigger stud to the index fingers and creating a line of big studs on the thumbs. On the ring fingers I added a mix of clear and gold diamantes.

I personally love them and think they look stunning. Although still not the most practical they are more so than the original stiletto and are a good middle ground for die hard fans of any nail shape camp. I'm really enjoying my latest glamorous nails and think I maybe converted to the coffin side.

What do you think of the blunt stiletto? Which camp do you belong to? Will you be trying out this trend? Do you like my nail design?

Lush Milky Bath

Milky bath - bubble bar - review - Lush cosmetics - Lush - bath products - pamper products - review

It was only a matter of time before I tried out the Milky Bath Bubble Bar.not because I am slowly working my way through every bath product Lush produces, but because who doesn't want to bathe like a queen! I remember being little and hearing that Cleopatra bathed in milk and was obsessed with the idea lol, so much so my mum bought me a milk infused bath set for Christmas. which I was majorly impressed with and would lay in the bath for ages turning all wrinkly imagining I was Cleopatra (I was a weird child) So obviously I was going to pick this out as it reminded me of my youthful royal bath times!

If you love bubbles this is the bubble bar for you. I used half the bar per bath and was amazed at the sheer abundance of bubbles created. The water takes on a slight milky tone with a slight silver lustre and a ton of white bubbles. Not only do you get lots of bubbles ,they really last so its fab if you enjoy a long royal soak!

Don't cry over spilled milk - bathe in it! This comforting little milk bottle bubble bar is filled with uplifting orange oil and skimmed milk to treat your skin to a dose of happiness. A cocoa butter bottle top adds a little bit of extra softness. Simply crumble under running water, for a super bubbly treat of a bath.

The scent really is gorgeous, it gives off a really soft fresh and clean scent, that reminds me of freshly washed clothes or baby products. There is a hint of sweet creaminess to the scent as well which I really enjoy. If you get a bit overwhelmed by the Lush scents this is a great one to try as it is a really gentle scent. The aroma lingers on your skin for a good few hours even though its one of the softest lush scents available.

Milky bath - bubble bar - review - Lush cosmetics - Lush - bath products - pamper products - review

My favourite thing about this bubble bar is how soft my skin felt after. It's without doubt the most moisturising bubble bar I have ever used ,my skin felt so silky and smooth to touch, which I adore as my skin often gets really dry especially in the winter months.

Overall I will without doubt be purchasing this again, I bet Cleopatra would be jealous and wishing her milk baths smelt as good as this. If you fancy giving the milky bath a go you can get it from the Lush site or in your local store.

Which bubble bars do you love? Have you tried milky bath? What Lush products would you recommend? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Too Faced Boudoir palette

Boudoir eyes -Too Faced - Boudoir eyeshadow palette - Satin eyeshadow - Matte eyeshadow - Glitter eyeshadow - swatch - review

Over the years I have become a bigger and bigger Too Faced make up fan, so it was only a matter of time before I bought myself another of their palettes. I picked the Boudoir palette as my next addition. Filled with soft and smouldering shades it's just up my street.

This boudoir palette is much like the other 9 eye shadow palettes available. You get a sturdy magnet closing tin case, complete with a gorgeous girlie design. The shades are divided into three separate eye looks, which you are shown how to complete in a Too Faced signature Glamour guide. The glamour guide itself folds up into a neat rectangle so you can keep it discreetly in the tin.  I love creating my own looks with the shades and find they all work well together and complement each other.

Too Faced say: Our new collection of eye shadows creates looks for the bedroom and beyond. Along with four Boudoir-worthy colors, we added five new shades just for this palette for a total of nine soft and sexy colors.New Shades:Fuzzy Handcuffs,Voulez-Vous,Garter Belt,Sugar Walls,French Tickler. Includes our signature how-to Glamour Guide with three looks to get you started. Paraben-free.

Birthday Suit - A nude beige with a shimmer finish
Lapdance - A shimmery dusty violet
French Tickler - A matte deep black with a golden glitter.

In the palette you get a great mix of sexy and sultry shades leaning towards the more purple and grey end of the spectrum. In a good variety of formulas, a selection of satin, mattes and glitter, it really is a versatile palette, the options are limitless you can go for a soft nude look or full on bold smoked up look.

As always with Too Faced eyeshadows the formula is extremely soft and so easy to blend. I cant get enough of this palette. It's a fab addition to anyone's collection and a must for a smokey sultry eye lover.

Which palettes are you loving at the moment? Do you own any Too Faced palettes? What do you make of the Boudoir palette? Let me know all your thought by commenting below.

Children in Need - The Big Learner Relay & Nail Art Competition

It's that time of year again, when people all over the country give up their time and money,to help raise funds for Children in Need. From dressing up, baking and taking part in sponsored walks, you name it people are doing it. All in the hope of creating a better life for children in the UK and around the world.

Children in Need - The Big Learner relay - Fundraising

This year my dad got involved in the Big Learner Relay the brain child of Louise Walsh. The idea being driving instructors  passing on the Children in Need top box from one car to another, over a  2,800 mile course. The course started on the 26th of October in Northern Ireland. after venturing all over the UK, the box relay concludes on the 13th of November in Swindon.  Thousands of driving instructors and pupils are taking part and Louise herself travelling the whole route The cars themselves could be covered in "sponsored spots" which people would pay to sign and stick on a car. which hopefully will help to make this years grand total the highest ever.

Children in Need - The Big Learner relay - Fundraising - sponsor a spot - Lancashire Team - 2015

On the 7th of November, it was the turn of the Lancashire team, where my dad, Dave Gibbons took over the Headbox from Simon Fox then handing over to Fiona Murray. I'm so proud that my dad and all involved are raising money for such a worthy cause. Everyone taking part has done a fantastic job,  The Big Learner Relay has already raised an amazing total of £59,227!! To help celebrate all the fabulous work of the fundraisers this year. I'm holding a nail art competition, with two entries winning a goody bag filled with nail bits and bobs (paid for by myself) You can follow my design or come up with your own Children in Need nail look. All you need to do is tweet me your nail look on Twitter @LauraTFP or post it to my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TeaseFlutterPout/ The winners will be picked and announced on the 18th of November.

Children in Need - The Big Learner relay - Fundraising - show me you're spots - spotty nail art - children in need nail designs - Competition - nail looks - giveaway

My nail look is inspired by "show us you're spots and lets raise lots" It's a really easy look to create, even if you don't have a nail dotter. You can create your own with an old pen, pencil or straighten out bobby pin. Just dip the nib into some polish and get spotty.

To create the nail look -

- paint your nails white or a pale shade.
- Let them dry.
- If you have coloured nail gems leave one nail on each hand white.
- Grab a range of shades of nail varnishes.
- Pick up your nail dotter, dip it in your first shade.
- Create spots of all different sizes on different nails.
- Carry on with your other nails.
- If you have gems stick randomly on the nails you left white.

If you don't have gems don't worry you can create your own design on the blank nail or just continue creating your spots as you did on the other nails.

I'd like to say a massive congratulations and thank you to all who have have taken part in the Big Learner Relay and everyone else fundraising for Children in Need this year. I cant wait to see your designs and good luck!

Lush big bang bubble bar

Lush - Big Bang - Bubble bar - Fragranced bath product - bubble bath - review - bath water

My obsession with baths is still going strong and so is my love for Lush products. I'm really keen on bath oils and rich products this time of year as they are so relaxing as well as indulgent. However I was instantly drawn to this gorgeous bubble bar as soon as I spotted it.

Bright blue with two pink glittery stars and yellow chunks. It called to my girly fun side and who doesn't love laying in a bath filled with great smelling bubbles. The bar has a real citrus zing to it and reminds me of lemon sherbet, which I adore yet it also has a hint of sweetness to it, which may be down to the tangerine oil it contains.

Start your evening with a bang, not a whimper, and treat yourself to a colourful bubble bath filled with softening avocado butter, zesty grapefruit oil and refreshing lemon myrtle oil. Simply crumble under running water, then lie back and think of the universe.

I got two baths from this bar but you could easily get three if you're not that fussed about being surrounded by bubbles. The pink stars are actually bath melts, so are filled with moisturising ingredients. I broke that in two as well so I got a star per bath.

Lush - Big Bang - Bubble bar - Fragranced bath product - bubble bath - review - bath water

The bath water was left a lovely blue shade, which with the big white bubbles reminded me of a blue sky with big fluffy clouds. I really enjoyed the coloured water, it always makes a bath feel a little bit more special (no matter what your age) The stars had a slight bubblegum scent to them and mixed with the citrus fragrance it's a really uplifting and refreshing aroma. Without doubt this is one of my new faves and perfect for those days when you need a bit of a lift.

You can get your own Big Bang bubble from most stores and also from the Lush website. What Lush bath products are you a fan of? Do you prefer bath bombs or bubble bars? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

OOTD Red Peter Pan Collar Top

Red Jumper - Peter Pan Collar - Primark - Trousers - River Island - Leggings - Over the knee boots - Flat boots - Outfit - OOTD - Outfit of the day

Top - Primark
Trousers - River Island
Over the knee boots - Amazon

Autumn is one of my favourite times of year for putting together outfits. I already had this Peter Pan collar jumper top in navy so when I saw they had it in this orangey red I had to have it. The colour is perfect for this time of year and adds a bit of colour to the darker tones that I wear in the colder months.

The top itself is a fine knit with a white collar and a white chiffon type material at the back. The floaty material at the back makes the top much more flattering as well as adding something different. It's also much cooler than wearing a shirt and a jumper together.

Red Jumper - Peter Pan Collar - Primark - Trousers - River Island - Leggings - Over the knee boots - Flat boots - Outfit - OOTD - Outfit of the day

I teamed the top with some tight legging style trousers from River Island, which are becoming some of my most worn items. They are thicker than leggings yet just as comfortable. They are great for wearing with boots as they cling to you, so no gathering when tucked in. The double piping down the side of the leg also gives them a jodhpur style which is a classic to team with boots.

The Boots are flats and just over the knee in length. They have buckle detailing around the knee area and ankle with a rounded toe. I received as a gift last Christmas from my mum, I always pop them on when I'm struggling with what to wear or want to bring a classic jeans and t-shirt look more up to date.

Red Jumper - Peter Pan Collar - Primark - Trousers - River Island - Leggings - Over the knee boots - Flat boots - Outfit - OOTD - Outfit of the day

I wore this for my nieces birthday party and for a family lunch afterwards. I could picture myself wearing this for so many different occasions especially for a date or out shopping.

What have you been wearing lately? What do you think of this outfit? Where would you wear this?

Dior nude air foundation

Dior - Diorskin - Nude Air - Serum De teint - Foundation - Dewy Foundation - Serum foundation - liquid foundation - sheer coverage - medium coverage - Review - Swatch - Dry skin

I have normal to dry skin and find a lot of foundations stick to the drier patches on my face and highlight it. So on my hunt for a natural looking foundation, I asked beauty expert Dave Lackie for his advice on which he would recommend. He suggested I try Dior's latest foundation Nude air Ultra- Fluid serum.

I bought the Dior skin Nude Air in the shade 020 which is a perfect match to my skin when I only have an ever so slight tan. The range of shades is quite limited so you may well struggle to find a match especially if you have a darker skin tone.

It comes in a beautiful lightly frosted glass jar with plastic silver coloured dropper. It definitely looks high end and luxurious, yet the plastic dropper doesn't feel extremely sturdy. I'm not to keen on the dropper as it is a slightly messy way of decanting the formula.

The formula is really running so its hard to apply straight to the face, I find the easiest way to apply is to use the dropper to put the formula directly on the brush, then blending the foundation out. A sponge / beauty blender soaks up way too much of the product. The foundation blends beautifully and does feel weightless on the skin. It gives a sheer coverage ,yet it can easily be built up to a medium coverage.

Dior Say:
A precursor in the art of natural, Dior innovates and broadens its nude makeup expertise with Diorskin Nude Air: a weightless, ultra-fluid serum as light and beneficial as a breath of fresh air, for an enhanced complexion with sheer correction. Like after a day in the great outdoors, the complexion has all the fresh, radiant beauty of a natural healthy glow.

Made with oils that evaporate instantly, the talc-free Diorskin Nude Air formula deposits an undetectable film of makeup on the skin. Its high-precision dropper easily delivers exactly the right amount.
Perfectly natural-looking makeup in an instant.
The formula enriched with soft-focus agents and glazed pigments produces an even, radiant complexion in an instant for perfect correction with a sheer finish. The complexion glows with natural beauty.
Day after day, all the benefits of a breath of pure fresh air for your skin.
Dior introduces Oxygen Activ™ technology, an innovative combination of a hyper-oxygenated oil, Cranberry oil, vitamins and minerals. Revitalised, the skin breathes and becomes more beautiful each day.

As for the glowing claims, it definitely delivers, my skin looked healthy and fresh. Not at all cakey even once built up to a heavier coverage. It dries to a gorgeous natural looking velvety finish and smooths over any dryness with ease. I'm not sure how the formula would work on oilier skin types. I have a feeling due to its serum like formula it may not stay put yet using in conjuction with the Dior Nudeair powder may help set it. On my skin it lasted all day, it felt comfortable and almost like I wasn't wearing any foundation at all.

It does have a lingering perfume scent so if you aren't keen on strongly scented make up you might want to give this a miss. However it's definitely not enough to put me off at all, the scent is pleasant and the foundation is a dream for my dry skin. It leaves your skin looking almost air brushed. It's without doubt one of my all time favourite foundations. I'm so glad I sought Dave's advice and am over the moon that I purchased this.

Clarisonic Smart Profile - First Impressions

Clarisonic - Smart Profile - review - first impressions - skincare - facial brush - body brush - Gadget

Today's post is slightly different from normal. I don't normal do posts on products I haven't been trying for at least a month or so. Yet I couldn't wait to share my thoughts on my latest beauty gadget. I was lucky enough to get sent the latest Clarisonic device two weeks ago from the lovely team at Debenhams and I have been obsessed with it since.

It's called the Smart Profile face and body brush. This brush comes with two separate heads one for your body and the other for your face. So perfect for head to toe cleansing and you are getting two brushes in one.

Up first is the facial brush. I have been using the facial brush every night since I received it and I'm blown away. I noticed results straight away, My skin was softer and smoother. The sonic technology means it vibrates at super high speeds in a distinct motion unique to Clarisonic which is gentler than the normal spinning brushes of other brands. It also lowers the risk of skin irritation. The brush itself is really soft and makes cleaning your face and removing make up a breeze. already after just a few weeks I've noticed my skin looks clearer and brighter.

The body brush is larger and the bristles harder than the facial brush, which enables longer more intense cleansing ,as well as a massage feature. It's perfect for getting a good deep clean, it buffs away all your dead skin and is great for using before you tan as your skin is left so smooth. The body scrub that comes in the box smells amazing. I rub it all over before going in with the brush.

I'm genuinely so impressed and will be posting a full review in a few weeks. You can get your own Clarisonic from Debenhams.

Have you tried any of the Clarisonic brushes? What do you think about facial brushes? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.
