Urban Decay Naked Basics palette

Urban Decay - Naked Basic - eyeshadow palette - swatches - matte eyeshadows - satin eyeshadow - mini palette - neutral eyeshadow - smokey eyeshadow - review

Today I thought I'd share one of my most used palettes Urban Decay Naked Basics. One of the ever expanding Naked collection, This is the first in the basic eyeshadow palette line.

You get 6 buttery soft shades, one satin eyeshadow and 5 mattes eyeshadows. Cased in small plastic case with a rubbery feel, It also comes with a super handy mirror. So its perfect for touch ups on the go or taking with you on your travels. This is one of the main reasons I love this palette so much.

Venus - a muted off white with satin finish

Foxy - a warm toned cream with a matte finish

Walk of Shame -  A light pink nude with a matte finish

Naked 2 - a light neutral taupe in a matte finish

Faint - A warm toned dusty brown in a matte finish

Crave - A dark smokey brown/black in a matte finish.

It has every shade I need for a day to day natural look or a smokey eye for the evening. With great variety of shades  a stark contrast between Venus the lightest shade which can be used to highlight and Crave the darkest of the shades. Meaning the number of looks you can create is endless, So if I'm going away this little palette is a must and due to its compact size it leaves more room for my other make up essentials.

I'm still  to get the NAKED Basics 2 palette so can't compare them both! It's on my wishlist, it does appear quite similar so I haven't rushed to buy it.

Overall I think this is the perfect on the go palette and it will continue to accompany me in my travel make up bag!!

Have you tried this palette? Which shade do you like best? Do you own both Basic palettes? Which do you use most? Is it worth owning them both? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Lots of Love,
Laura x

  7. I use this almost every day - it's so versatile! I use it for my eyes, and also to fill in my eyebrows - Crave and Faint mixed together make the perfect colour for my dark brown/black brows. I'd choose this over Basics 2 purely for the reason it has a matte black eyeshadow x

  8. I have the Naked Basics 2 palette, I love it! This is really cute, but I think it's a bit warm for me. I want to try the bigger Naked palettes though :)
