La Roche- Posay Micellar Make up Remover Gel

La Roche - Posay - Combination skin - sensitive skin - normal skin - french skincare - French Pharmacy - Escentual - review - swatch - make up remover - cleanser - micellar gel - Make up Remover Micellar water gel

Whether you love skincare regimes or find it all a bit of a faff. It's a part of any beauty lovers routine that we all know we should be doing. I have a real love//hate relationship with skincare, I love the difference it makes to my skin and when I have the time I really enjoy getting out all my lotions and potions. I hate it when I'm tired or in a rush and I'd rather be doing anything rather than carrying out a long skincare routine. Rather than reaching for the dreaded face wipes what else can we do? La Roche - Posay have come up with a revolutionary new way to remove your make up.

Could La Roche - Posay Physiologique Make -up Remover Gel, a no rinse cleansing gel be the answer to our tired night time routine? The La Roche - Posay Physiologique Make -up Remover Gel* is a fuss free gel that is applied to a damp face then wiped off with a cotton wool pad.

Cased in a blue coloured, easy to use pump bottle. The gel itself is clear yet in the bottle the gel looks like a bottle of cheap hair gel lol. It doesn't however have the same nasty ingredients. The gel is free from soap, alcohol and has no colourants or parabens. This with its physiological PH and La Roche - Posay Thermal spring water, makes it perfect for even sensitive skin.

La Roche-Posay Make-Up Remover Micellar Water Gel is a gel facial cleanser which gently cleanses normal to combination sensitive skin. The physiological formulation with La Roche-Posay thermal spring water contains cleansing agents selected for optimal tolerance, high make-up removal power whilst hydrating and soothing the skin.

The directions on the bottle are ridiculously unclear stating "apply to wet face. No rinsing." To use I simply wet my face after removing my eye make up (with my facial make up still in tact) Then apply a few pumps of the gel to my hands and gently apply the gel to my face. Then with a cotton wool pad wipe over my face removing the gel and make up at the same time. I then repeat again and my skin is make up free.

La Roche - Posay - Combination skin - sensitive skin - normal skin - french skincare - French Pharmacy - Escentual - review - swatch - make up remover - cleanser - micellar gel - Make up Remover Micellar water gel

It felt really cooling on the skin and soothed any irritated patches. It's not at all harsh and has a pleasant, subtle scent. After the second cleanse my skin feels really clean without feeling dry. I'm really enjoying using this, I found it does take a few goes to remove medium to heavy make up. I don't know if this is because it's so gentle.

Overall I really love how gentle and soothing it is to the skin. It still takes a little while to be make up free, so it doesn't exactly answer my prayers for quick, one wash make up remover. It does however make cleansing a breeze and leaves your skin feeling amazing. It's perfect for the summer months when make up tends to be lighter and the cooling sensation is godsend during the hotter weather.

To get this and other La Roche - Posay products. Check out Escentual for their amazing offers on French Pharmacy products throughout June.

Naked basics 2

Naked 2 basics - Urban Decay - Matte eyeshadow - eyeshadow palette - swatches - review - make up - neutral tones

After owning the naked basics palette for some time and using it on an almost daily basis I thought it was definitely time I invested in the second basic palette. Although quite similar to the first neutral based naked basics palette, the shades are slightly warmer toned yet still taupe based. Just like the first palette you get one satin and 5 matte eyeshadows.

It comes in a small, golden brown slightly rubbery feeling case with a Naked 2 basics written across it. It's the perfect size for popping in your bag and the big mirror makes touch ups out and about a breeze. One of the reasons I loved the first naked palette was the formula of the shadows. They  are soft and easy to blend and this palette is no different. Unlike other matte eyeshadows I have tried they aren't at all chalky and there isn't much fallout at all. Again a big thumbs up from me Urban Decay.

Naked 2 basics - Urban Decay - Matte eyeshadow - eyeshadow palette - swatches - review - make up - neutral tones

Skimp - A pale nude satin, I'd describe it as a light peachy toned beige.
Stark - A nude- pink matte, I'd call it a light muted peach.
Frisk - A warm grey matte, when swatched it's a light taupe/grey.

Cover - A muted red- brown matte, I'd call it a tanned warm toned brown.
Primal -  A muted brown matte, I'd say it's a medium/ dark brown.
Undone - A deep, smoky brown matte, It's a dark greyish brown.

Naked 2 basics - Urban Decay - Matte eyeshadow - eyeshadow palette - swatches - review - make up - neutral tones

All the shades are really pigmented on my skin and last a good 7-8 hours before fading. Undone is the hardest to work with as it's the darkest shade and requires more blending to get an even finish. Yet this isn't the end of the world and I have found this to be the case with most darker matte shadows.

I wear a neutral eye almost everyday and you can create a variety of nude toned looks with this palette. So I'm really glad, I bought this. I don't however think you need both the basic palettes. The palettes are really similar, yet if you love matte eyeshadows you can't get get better than Urban Decays mattes. So like me you will be more than happy to own both palettes.

Do you own either of the basic palettes? Which do you prefer? What is your all time fave naked palette? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.

Lots of Love,

EUCERIN SUNCARE
An necessity for sunny weather is SPF and even as a self confessed sun worshipper I always try to protect my face from the suns ageing. I got the tinted Sun Creme but you can get a range of Eucerin products in the box. I'm delighted I got this as the tint to the formula wont give you the stark white face effect that I used to get from the normal suncreams.

Eucerin Sun Creme Tinted SPF 50+is an advanced facial sunscreen with light mineral tinted pigments that provides sun protection plus an even, natural tanned-looking skin tone. Also it helps prevent further darkening of pigment spots. Oil-free cream texture. Non-comedogenic. Suitable for all skin types.

3 ways to style a kimono with New Look

I'm a massive fan of the highstreet and New Look is one of my all time fave stores. Not only do they stock the latest styles they also offer high quality goods and amazing value for money. Making it one of my go to shops. Whenever I'm looking for new pieces I always pop into my local New Look or browse their site for the new must have items. So when I was asked by New Look to share 3 ways to style a Kimono, I couldn't wait to get stuck into finding my ideal outfits.

The Kimono is swiftly becoming a wardrobe staple as it is flattering and the perfect way to update your look. So in today's post I thought I'd share three ways I'd style a kimono. The kimono I have picked has quite a bold print. I like to keep things simple and let the piece speak for itself yet you could go pick out some of the brighter colours in the kimono for a more colourful look.

New Look - Styling - Fashion - Kimono - Sandals - Wishlist 2015 - Spring - Summer - How to - Outfits - Style - how to style - 2015

Black Abstract Print Dip Side Hem Kimono - £14.99

Black Metal Sunglasses - £7.99

White Plaited Trim Cami - £9.99

Light Grey Frayed Hem Hotpants - £14.99

Black Cross Strap Sandals - £15.99

This floaty pleated cami is perfect for wearing on a warm summer day. The light grey shorts make a great alternative to blue denim shorts and the grey looks lovely with the dark tones in the kimono.  I'd wear this for a lunch with friends or a day out.

Kimono - £14.99

Gold Layered Pendant - £4.99

Black Ribbed High Neck Crop Top - £8.99

Black Ribbed Skirt - £9.99

Black Leather Tassel Peeptoes - £44.99

I absolutely adore this outfit, I think these pieces look beautiful together. I picked a high neck crop top with a black tube skirt which I would wear high on the waist. Layering necklaces and picking chunky heels makes this look really on trend. Perfect for a night out or for a super stylish day look.

Kimono - £14.99

White Cracked Oval Spike Necklace - £14.99

White V Neck Linen T-Shirt - £12.99

White Ripped Knee Skinny Jeans - £22.99

Diamante Embellished Wedges - £34.99

I love wearing white in the summer. white jeans and a simple v neck tshirt look effortless and beautiful with a tan. I picked these nude toned wedges with embellishment to dress up the outfit and then I'd pop on a statement necklace. The perfect outfit for evening drinks or a date.

I love all three looks and tried to pick items that could easily be mixed and matched together to create a number of equally stylish outfits. Will you be wearing a kimono this summer? Which of my outfits do you like best? What pieces would you love to own from my picks? How would you style a kimono? Let me know all your thoughts by commenting below.
