Fave Nail Summer Shades

I'm a sucker for painting my nails throughout the year but when summer hits and the sandals are out, I love jazzing up my toes and nails with some pretty nail varnish shades. Nothing looks more summery than brights and pastels. So here are my pick of some of my fave summer colours.

Summer - nail varnish - Nail polish - summer shades - nail lacquer - Barry M - Lottie London - Bourjois - sally hansen - MUA - Rimmel - Maybelline - NYC - Butter London - Essie

Barry M Speedy Quick Nail Paint - Lap of Honour £3.99
One of the latest shades from Barry M from the Speedy collection. All of the colours in this range are stunning and well worth a look. This beautiful bright pastel purple, is one of my faves and dries extra quick so great for touch ups when you're in a rush.

Lottie London Nail Polish - Spring Break Pink £5.99
A bright and bold pink is definitely one of my go to shades in the summer. This pink from Lottie London is a must have. It looks great on all lengths of nails and is fab for adding a pop of colour to your outfit.

Bourjois 1 seconde Nail Polish - Blue No Blues £5.99
Again a fast drying nail varnish this true baby blue is beautiful and will brighten any day even if the rain clouds appear. The bottle also looks super stylish on your dresser.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Pink at Him £6.99
A classic pink from a classic brand. You can't go wrong with a light nudey pink it goes with every outfit and complements every skin tone.

MUA Nail Polish - Apricot Candy £1.00
I love a pastel coral shade and this one from MUA is only a pound!! What a total bargain, if you are looking to add a coral to your collection this is one I'd definitely recommend checking out.

Rimmel Sweetie Heart Velvet Matte Pastels - Chase Me £3.99
Matte nail varnishes are still going strong and this minty shade looks stunning. A light green instantly makes an outfit look more summery.

Maybelline Nail Polish Color Show - Ripped Tide £3.99
Dip your toes into the sea at home with aptly named Ripped Tide, this beautiful shade really does look like breaking clear waters. Its a real show stopping shade and a must for your holidays.

NYC Gel Gloss Nail Polish - Fifth Ave Princess £2.49
Orange nails are one of my go to shades at the moment. They look fab with a tan and are easier to wear than you might think. This glossy shade is bright without being too in your face.

Butter London Nail Polish - Pimms £12.00
The ultimate a summer shade, this bright yellow is a beauty. It's summer sunshine in a bottle, this yellow looks amazing on, especially on those with darker skin tones.

Essie Nail Polish - Blanc £7.99
Love or Hate white nails, white nails are still a summer favourite. I personally love a crisp white shade especially on the toes with some fab flipflops.

Which of my picks do you like best? What shades do you reach for most in the summer months? Do you prefer pastels, nudes or brights in the summer? Let me know all your thoughts below.

Lots of Love,
Laura x
